Dry-type distribution transformers composed of iron cores and coils have the advantages of strong short-circuit resistance, low maintenance costs, low noise, and high efficiency.

Dry distribution transformers do not have the disadvantage of oil leakage like oil-filled transformers. Distribution transformers are usually used in medium voltage distribution systems such as 11KV/33KV to 0.415KV, and are widely used in power stations, hospitals and factories.

The reliability of the winding material determines the safe operation and service life of the dry-type transformer, so winding temperature monitoring is very important to ensure the normal operation of the transformer.
